We’re so fortunate to be part of the Traverse City community. One of the main benefits of living and working in this region is the abundance of events to get folks outside and moving. This is such a beautiful place to live, so it’s a shame to sit inside all winter! Here are some family-friendly events coming up that’ll get the whole crew off the couch to learn, move, and grow!
Elev8 Fitness’ Family Climb Nights are a perfect place to give climbing a try in a safe, welcoming environment with other families, parents, and kiddos. Family Climb Nights are held every first Sunday of the month from 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Kids climb for $5 (including rentals) when they attend Family Climb Night with a paying/climbing adult.
The Peepers Program is an adult-accompanied program for early learners from 3-5. Join Grand Traverse Conservation District for 60-minute nature programs that include stories, crafts, music, and discovery activities. The program cost is $5/child per session.
Our downtown TC friends at Brilliant Books have so many wonderful events for kids! On March 10, they’ll be featuring an intentionally curated children’s book that focuses on social-emotional learning. Our time together will include an extension activity for your child and time for connection with other grown-ups and their children within our community.
As you might expect, we’re big fans of spending time in the kitchen. If you invest in your kitchen, you probably feel the same way! Oryana’s community cooking classes are wonderful ways to learn and grow your skills in the kitchen with your spouse or kids. Check out the upcoming class calendar for two excellent learning opportunities in March!
From everyone at Max’s, here’s to a wonderful month of March. Let’s enjoy the “shoulder season” before spring arrives in April!
